Beacon Lough Baptist Church
We are a family church seeking to care for people in the community and in so doing to win the right to share with them our faith in Jesus Christ.
Our church was founded in 1963 and is at the heart of the Beacon Lough Estate, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. We have always enjoyed a reputation for being friendly and welcoming with an emphasis on serving the community around the church and welcome visitors to all our activities.
Our aims as a church are
To be the people that God wants us to be, in this place and at this time by
- Showing the love of God,
- Sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and
- Living the life of faith.
Heritage Open Day
Our church will be open on Friday 10th and Sat 11th September from 10am-4pm as part of the English Heritage Open Days Weekend. Gateshead Camera Club Centenary Exhibition will be on display.
Refreshments will be available.
The Church is affiliated to the Baptist Union of Great Britain, and the Northern Baptist Association. We are also a member organisation of the Evangelical Alliance.
