Beacon Lough Baptist Flower Festival

From the 8 to 10 September, we joined with English Heritage Open Days to hold our first Harvest Thanksgiving Flower Festival.

Nearly 200 people visited us and judging by the encouraging comments, all enjoyed both the flowers and the warm welcome. Celebrating the flower festival allowed us share, through the use of floral displays, music and images, who we are and what we are trying to do in the community. We were able to give thanks for what Jesus has done and is going to do with our church and for the people of Beacon Lough.

Although it was hard work and quite a commitment over the week-end; it was fantastic to see all the church groups working together developing ideas and creating some lovely thoughtful displays. All our efforts were worthwhile and the flower festival was a great success.
