Lilia’s testimony April 2009
I was born in the Ukraine, and moved to Russia after marriage. Those days I attended the Orthodox Church, but attendance of church was where it really ended. I did not know what it was like to live with Jesus. One day my friend invited me along to a charismatic church, which I enjoyed very much. It also showed me that faith was not only about attending church, so I started asking questions, looking, and at last I have found it. I did the most amazing thing I could have ever done; I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and saviour and now I know that He died, so I may live.
Coming to England has proved difficult for me, as I had to find another church family to join. This process took me a very long time, but at last I feel that I have found what I have been looking for.
Jesus has worked many miracles in my life; through prayer I stopped smoking. I look forward to a brilliant future with him.
